Halter Group’s corporate culture – shaped by the values of entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability – is the essence of our strong and agile organisation.
Established in 1918 in Altstetten (ZH), the construction company Halter laid the foundations for what has grown into today’s Halter Group. Since 2013, an ecosystem of independent companies offering different construction and real estate services across all phases of the property life cycle has emerged alongside Halter AG. Halter Group comprises today ten companies, two of which are majority-owned.
The various corporate cells are geared towards ensuring capacity for action, and they form an ecosystem with a market-oriented culture.
We work in a performance- and results-driven manner within a lean and flat organisation in which roles, responsibilities and decision-making powers are clearly defined for our employees.
Our development approach is based on comprehensive, holistic and targeted management of the relevant value drivers throughout the entire life cycle of a property. Risk management is based on an unconditional willingness to be transparent and a culture of double verification.
Entrepreneurial: Entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and win-win solutions are at the heart of our customer relationships.
Innovative: An open and inquisitive corporate culture forms the basis for innovation and the consistent, continuous development of our products and processes.
Sustainable: We fully embrace the notion of sustainability and seek to find long-term solutions. To that end, we follow a circular-economy model and aim for sustainability in a transparent way.
The ability to listen, make decisions and take responsibility is part of our employees’ DNA.
Around 500 employees with different core skills and wide-ranging experience create a stimulating working environment that prizes the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
We are all on first name terms – from professionals at the start of their careers to the CEO. This culture connects us and encapsulates our sense of appreciation for one another.
We cultivate a culture of debate and learning from mistakes, so that improvements can be made quickly and inexpensively.
